We needed to get our driveway pipe unclogged and replaced. They were really nice about it and gave us a great price. We thought we were gonna need to break the bank but they didn’t.

B&K installed a culvert drain under our driveway and a drainage ditch down the side of the driveway to solve a problem with water running off the mountain. They gave a good quote, worked with me throught the project, and made sure I was satisfied before they packed up and left. All totaled, the job was done in a day and I am very pleased with it. B&K are professional and will work to make sure you get what you want. I highly recommend them.

B&K exceeded our expectations. Kurt helped us solve ongoing water issues that were impacting our stone driveway that had been in desperate need of new stone. He was efficient, friendly and we would certainly hire him again for future needs. I keep appreciating their work each time I use the "new" driveway!

Our lot had trees to be removed and it's very rocky with large boulders. We had Kurt clear out the trees that needed to removed and also laid down gravel for the driveway. He did a wonderful job - even our builder commented that Kurt to a great job! After our home was built, we hired Kurt again to spread top soil, seed, lay down straw and clean up the rocks and boulders several feet in front of our home that looked so messy. With Kurt's advise, we had him clean up the boulders. He moved them around and now that area looks beautiful! I wish I had before pictures, but I'm sharing the end result of Kurt's magic he does with his machines. Kurt is very courteous and gives very good suggestions. We will hire Kurt again when we are ready to do the back of our home, where there are more large rocks.

I have a pond that has been leaking for over 10 years. Kurt’s knowledge in pond construction was fantastic. In less than a day Kurt excavated the entire affected area, cut a key way into the foundation, dug clay, and reconstructed the embankment in lifts and compacted each lift. I will without a doubt have Kurt and staff to do any future excavating work I need done. My wife and I are thrilled to have our spring fed pond full and no leaks. Thanks Kurt!!!

B&K excavators just completed our project for site prep ahead of a garage build. Kurt and Jake were absolutely amazing. We contacted B&K for an estimate to grade an area where 13 large hemlocks are being removed and replaced with inkberry holly. Kurt called and we talked about our plan. Since the trees will be removed next week, and the area being graded diverts a lot of rain runoff from our house, Kurt wanted to see the area before the stumps were ground, explaining how at times it's best to remove the stumps entirely. He stopped by today, which is Saturday, listened to our plan, analyzed the area, and provided his recommendations. It was amazing! He talked us through the various options and risks with altering the existing swells. Turns out, we need a landscaper more than an excavator. Thank you Kurt for all your time & help with our project! Your expertise was invaluable!

They did a weeks worth of work for us in only 2 days, in extreme heat and it was still far past our level of expectations. This past summer (2023) B & K returned to our place to fortify the north east bank of our wildlife pond. Two summers ago they rebuilt the south east bank, and also graded and resurfaced the access road along its lower side. Previously, they installed a French drain in the area. These jobs done correctly are challenging, and B & K is always up to the task. They do a thoroughly professional job. If you have a project anywhere within their remit, call B & K! Some contractors bring hamburger; B & K always brings steak....

Kurt and Bob replaced our failed septic system. They arrived when they said they would, and completed the work in a timely manner. They are very hard-working and give attention to detail. They clearly knew what they were doing and the project was completed without any issues. When the dirt inevitably settled around the tank, I called Kurt to request grass seed because I wanted to match the seed he originally used. He promptly delivered some. Not only is Kurt Hall an excellent heavy equipment operator with a good touch, he is also a man of his word. To no fault of Kurt's, a bad load of material was delivered to my project. Kurt assured me he would make it right. He immediately contacted the trucking company and quarry while keeping in daily contact with me. Kurt kept at it until I was 100% satisfied. That means alot. I reccomend Kurt and Bob for your projects and will hire them again for my next.

Had this father son team install a sand mound system to replace my failed septic. They were knowledgeable and actually made some recommendations that made my system better than the original design. When it came time to do the work they showed up when they said they would and put in some long days during some of the hottest days of the year to ensure minimal disruption of our normal use of water. Great to see a father son team running a business in this day and age. Their work ethkc is excellent and they are very good at what they do. Highly recommend their services!!

I could not be happier with the work provided by B&K! Their knowledge of septic systems & mountainside drainage was so comforting to someone unfamiliar with it all. They never seemed to mind my endless questions and I now have a much better understanding of how it all functions. Bob and Kurt work well as a team and provided reliable referrals to other specialists if/as needed (Greg was great!). Their attention to detail is notable and often difficult to find today. They will work with you on what you can afford and their prices were more than fair, even with inflation. First, B&K Excavating is as their name depicts, an excavating and digging company. We had water coming through the base of the foundation into our finished basement. I contacted them through their webpage messaging system late on a Friday night and by Saturday lunchtime, Bob had called me. That Monday, Bob and Kurt were at our house to evaluate the foundation french drain issues and make their recommendations. By Monday evening we had an estimate in hand. The estimate was very reasonable (a coworker of mine can also speak to their pricing to be fair). They put us on their calendar for a few weeks later. Bob called a few days before the dig to let us know when equipment would be dropped off and work would begin. Bob and Kurt very efficiently worked around the weather that comes in early spring and got the job done. Bob contacted us after the job was complete to check in and give us the good news that the job came in under the estimate. Both gentlemen are polite, professional and prompt. I truly enjoyed speaking with and working with both of them. If you need any digging done, call B&K Excavating!

I'd give 10 stars if i could. We can't say enough good things about Bob & Kurt. These guys went out of their way to help us when we needed help badly...they came to the rescue! They did beautiful work and were just good people! They were quick & reliable. Always answered the phone & any questions we had. Worked hard. They did a beautiful job with the septic&mound and lot landscaping. Kurt explained what to do & what to use for a nice lawn & it turned out just as he explained it would. They fixed our water run off issue with our driveway too! We'll have you back for cheese steak hoagies again sometime when we need more done...lol. We would definitely hire them again. One word...PHENOMINAL! We needed a sand mound septic system installed and called B&K Excavating. Kurt's enthusiasm for building sand mounds sold me from the first time I spoke to him. Bob and Kurt wasted no time, but took their time, installing the septic system. They were very knowledgeable and kept us informed every step of the way, answering every question we had in a way we could understand. Kurt kept in touch almost every day from the first phone call until after the project was done, making sure we were satisfied with the job they had done...and we are very satisfied! These guys go above and beyond to make sure things are done right and that you are happy with what they do; that's something you just don't see happen anymore. We will be calling them again!

Septic tank alarm went off this morning. Called B&K and immediately the phone was answered. Bob then called me back within minutes and came out same day to look into why the alarm was going off. Was very polite and knowledgeable and offered the most efficient and cost effective solution for us. This is my go to Septic, Excavation and Landscaping company going forward!

Owning a small farm we were really dependent on the existing pond that was on the property. Over the years it corroded down to nothing. Bob and Kurt were able to restore it back to its original glory:) We can't wait to get it stocked with fish now!!! Because of the outstanding work they did we now have them on another project and we can't be happier!! We are able to discuss ideas and they let is know if it's a practical solution. I definitely value their expertise and will be using them on any future project we may have.

We had some issues with a foundation wall that was damaged due to some other work being done at our home. B&K was here quickly to look at the damage, made suggestions on how to repair it, and was back to do the excavating within a few days to allow the wall to be repaired. They were back just as quickly to fill the area so that the other work could resume. Great experience and great folks.

B&K performed work on our septic tanks to seal the riser joints and grade the lawn in an effort to prevent groundwater intrusion. We are pleased with the work Bob and Kurt performed for us. They responded to our phone call quickly, visited the site to provide us options, and gave us an accurate quote. We'll certainly contact them again in the future if we need excavation work performed.

We had an amazing experience with B&K excavating. They were quick to meet our needs of clearing and leveling a pad for our shed and fire pit area. I called them to get an estimate on clearing land at my cabin. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and friendly....she told me she would have Bob call me back to set something up. Bob got back to me quickly the same day. Bob and his son Kurt came out on a Tuesday for my estimate and were willing to come back out the next day because of the weather coming that week. Kurt showed up at 7am like he said he would and got right to work. I told him what I was looking for and he nailed it. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
